The 32

After months of painstaking research, I have finally plumped for a selection of TV dramas to review. These are not my personal favourite Top 32 because I haven't actually seen many of them and of those I have, I've only seen all seasons of The Sopranos and just Season #1 of Dexter and Lost. Remember, I am aiming to review a select few of the top quality, critically acclaimed variety. 

I've also had "sneaky peaks" at about half a dozen Episode 1s just to get a feel for them. I have arrived at a total of 32, rather than 30, because there were an extra few that crept in, last minute, and couldn't be ignored. I also wanted to aim for a bit of variety so included a sit-com style comedy and a couple with a zombie/vampire/horror element. For the sake of convenience I have stuck with posting pictures of the front cover for Season #1 of each show...  

Of course, I know there'll be cries such as "Where's Entourage, Big Love, In Treatment or True Blood? And, yes, these were a few of the "near-misses" but such is the nature of an undertaking like this; you just can't please everyone all at once. Nevertheless, in an attempt to cover the bases, in my next post I shall post 8 more shows that I'll be calling my "Mixed Bag." These will be those that didn't quite make "The 32" but which I felt couldn't be swept under the carpet. It kind of gives us a nice round 40 shows to work with - which is nice.
